DOCs (Diagnostic Outpatient Centers) is a family owned business with a President/CEO who has been in the diagnostic imaging business for over 40 years. Our facilities are the only dually accredited, ACR (American College of Radiology) and JCAHO (Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations), Independent Diagnostic Testing Facilities (IDTF) in Leesburg, Eustis, Ocala, and St. Petersburg, Florida.
About the President/CEO
As a civic leader, Larry Williams's distinguished services include: author of the Radiologic Technology Licensing Act of 1978 for the state of Florida , the Bi-Racial Advisory Committee for Pinellas County Schools, and finalist for the Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year Award. In 1995, Larry was elected to the St. Petersburg City Council, serving as Vice Chairman in 1999-2000 and Chairman in 2001. In 2001, Mr. Williams resigned his position as a council representative to become a candidate for Mayor of St. Petersburg. After finishing third from a field of nine candidates (a loss by the margin of 230 votes), Mr. Williams now expends his time and energy on DOCs.
